Better to hold and wait after the deadline as i doubt it will go private but he can try to drop it lower and then those remaining wont sell more so then either so he would be forced to mass dilute them down & then take it past 90% if they dont pay up for the SPP which I doubt they will and then try to compulsory acquire at 90.1% again but then the takeovers panel may block that as its a breach of takeover protocols & unfair to minority holders.
