In the week preceding the profit downgrade shorts increased 15.5% to 7.25%. In the four days following the announcement they increased 14% to 8.93%. State Street remain the largest shareholder. This latest notice increases their shareholding from 6.09% to 7.21% for virtually no consideration, majority of transactions being either the Transfer of title or return of securities under a loan arrangement.

Shorts continuing to increase after the downgrade announcement tells me they are betting on revised guidance not being met.
