I’m confused. Can Gina buy the borrowed shares from a hedge fund, then once she has her desired ‘percentage’, lend them back out again for shorting to make the SP drop which would please the hedge fund she bought from? Once substantially shorted, and the SP is low enough for Gina’s liking, she then puts in an offer substantially above the now low SP, to say a bit over $3 so we all go, “Yay thank goodness for Gina!”, with us being the ‘suckers?’ I am not sure how it works but is this a possibility? Anything seems to be possible at the moment. Maybe I’ll just go on a trip and get drunk.
