I hope you are right and that the "superior proposal" is somewhat subjective and not simply monetary. I do not have the answer to that and certainly I get what you are saying about the board being able to renege on their "intention" to recommend the ALB offer. I would love to see the bidding war. This is where we need the leadership from our BoDs in due course. I appreciate they may not be able to do much communication-wise until this due diligence is finished, but I really hope we get some clarity soon.
About the idea there might be an imminent higher monetary offer...I struggle to believe that is going to happen in light of the signifcant increase in short sales.
