So now Gina has almost 15% of the LTR shares. My question is if she just wanted to frustrate ALB and or get some special deal for herself (which my be tricky as there are legal issues in a takeover), why did she just not stop at 10% plus one share? That would have blocked a court mandated buy out. It still seems to me that she wants to do a takeover herself and is going to accumulate as many cheap shares (up to 19.99%) as she can before she makes a higher offer. Nothing else I have seen or heard has convinced me otherwise, but I am open to more info. Is she also shorting? I personally don't think she is. There were already a lot of shares short before it was announced that she had 5% and also she has not shorted her whole holding because if that was the case there would be almost 325 million shares short and there are only 144 million as of last report. IMO she is going for the brass ring and she is just being shrewd about buying her shares, getting them as cheaply as possible until she has to pay up.
