Wow.. that's worth a read! State Street sold 5.5 million shares over the 10th and 11th of October, driving the price markedly lower each day and totalling the vast majority of sales each day. Thats just after building significant holding. Essentially shorting on a massive scale! Its a pretty blatant move so presumably someone wants the sp down as low as possible asap. Games are certainty afoot! Maybe a takeover offer , but if so, its a dirty tricks approach to getting a good price?
