Amazon was only technically ‘making a loss’, they were reinvesting funds to grow the business. OLI has used all their funds to go nowhere.
We popped into Wyong N on Saturday, OLI shares a space with Oporto and Hungry Jacks. The place was packed, OLI was doing ok but the queues to the others were longer. The food was surprisingly good and the wait was only ~20 mins. They are competing against mature businesses that have considerable assets and expertise.
