At what stage will the government realise that shorting is not providing any sort of positive outcomes for the asx, the shorting is increasing across mining stocks that are in the EV space, in the last 6 months dozens of asx listed companies have been crippled by shorters, but it appears there is no risk for them anymore, great announcements get sold down and money keeps getting shoveled in to keep the fall going. I honestly think the government should be looking deeper into what is behind the multiple billions being wiped of the asx companies by this illegal manipulation. Not to mention two major lithium plays that have run into problems in Africa, AVZ and LLL will both fall cheaply into the lap of China, with shareholders loosing billions, the need for Australian Lithium will then be squeezed, plus many start up mines will be shorted out of existence. Am I jumping at shadows? Perhaps but this all seems very well orchestrated and our politicians probably don’t even see it.
