Certainly highly qualified staff take years to learn and yet more years to gain experience. That said, generally they then provide the roadmap for others to undertake the hard yakka and it is this area to which NewbieHK refers. I recollect LBL management saying they were having success with bringing immigramts in for factory style work. I was quite envious of this because as the Chair to two medium sized private manufacturing companies I can assure you that getting factory staffing is damn difficult. Still is. And its expensive with yet more pain likely as a result of the Governments Same Job Same Pay mandate. Anyone who has employed staff knows the logic of "Show me the incentive and I will show you the outcome'. It beats communism & socialism hands down.
