Camban , maybe , maybe not , sometimes institutions transfer stocks between accounts ,to help off set potential capital gains taxes, depending on how a particular fund within there umbrella portfolio is performing , taking into consideration how much they paid for the stock at the time and how much the stock is know trading at once transferred , may help with current and future tax assessments.
