In the past I've questioned why our largest SHLDr hasn't been looking at taking ASH private, the cashflow if business is back to usual ie. 2021/2022-2022/2023 FY's would place him comfortably for the business to cover the investment costs.
Unlike the rest of us, he has greater insight into how ASH are putting the LINC mis-adventure behind them & positioning the company going forward.
What might a fair price be for ASH to be taken private? Why did it take so long for this to happen when RH had shown their desire to quite the stock for some time!?
Did this trade come from RH as the final dump?
Regardless it appears Ross has plans!, will smaller holders become beneficiaries before Ross fulfills his plans? Presuming the ultimate aim is privatisation OR perhaps placing ASH into a position to be taken over? Expect the 2nd option would benefit all SHLDRs- is this likely?
