I would bet that Gregory George has access to a lot more $$ than SI .... both personally and from the investors in the USA that 'may' want to join him for the ride if he wanted to make a move of sorts .... perhaps SI should take note of the saying:
“Keep Your Friends Close, And Your Enemies Closer”
..... wouldn't want George to make a move if things weren't amicable between them because I will re-iterate, I bet GG has access to a lot more capital in the USA than SI does

@nippy @reginaldp - not time machine (lol) ....looks like GG's EA made a typo in the announcement because it appears to be related to the Dec 2023 Entitlement Offer perhaps these shares are subject to some sort of escrow until 5 Dec 2024 so that date has been used ? Who knows - but GG is now the largest single shareholder in Mesoblast
