I thought that you were prohibited from owning >20% without some takeover provisions being triggered, but trying to see what I can find on this, it appears that they are able to increase their stake by up to 3% every 6 mths (and it appears they made it in just under that)

Someone smarter than me will have to explain exactly what is happening here (Somers seems to own a decent stake in Resimac already, so not sure if this changes anything)
