This is illegal even in some markets in Asia.But somehow this practice is becoming rampant in the western markets. It constitutes churning when there is no obvious change in beneficiary ownership.It is amounting to the creation of false markets. ASIC should stop this practice before the trust in the market goes to a point of no return. Despite this, we still don't know who the buyer of the 45m shares is.
