Jardin upgraded to Buy this week, PT $2.55 (was $2.50). They had a DCF/SOTP using 8.4% WACC and 2.5 TGR.
They had similar thoughts to mine - negativity around earnings and the acquisition has likely overshot, and catalyst to surprise on the upside in FY25/26, when destocking leads to restocking ect.
They argued that the stock has underperformed by 43% over the past 12m, and is now ~2StDev below long term relative value to the ASX200.
I'm a big fan of deep value plays so it was all music to my ears
