Very interesting. Saba Capital are now the largest shareholder by a long way. The AFR article published on March 4, 2024 is an interesting read. Regardless of the philanthropic structure, there can be only one reason why Saba is continuing to purchase shares >> profit. The 6 month performance figures are looking OK. Not so good longer term, but maybe we are in the early stages of a turnaround. The GYG IPO will give that performance a positive boost in June. Dividends look sustainable. Investment portfolio looks OK. SP is currently trading at a sizable discount to NTA. What's not to like now that Saba are taking a serious position? BTW: My disclosure should say: HELD.
