MOM boys were saying if the “squeeze” then BGL might do a raise. Well there has been quite a squeeze since then, almost immediately after that podcast, Mar 21-27 went from 77.5m short to 44.6m and then a slower reduction of short positions ever since down to 33m as of last Thursday (don’t forget aggregated shorts data is 4 trading days lagging)..
So this Monday just gone, the big volume day, the aggregated shorts will be revealed tomorrow arvo sometime.
Be good to see those remaining shorts disappear. Who knows, 4 days lagging data is simply not good enough these days, how can a market be efficient when that is happening?
