I am doing a little comparison today between BDT and similar companies in the technology space.
I have come across ART _ Airtasker Limited.
Reasonably similar profiles. Both BDT and ART have about $20 million in cash and no debt. Both have made small losses over the last 2 years. However, in examining ART's 31 March 2024 quarterly report I see that ART finally made a profit of about $2.5 million for that quarter. It seems to have turned the corner. I am hoping that when BDT publishes its quarterly report for this quarter we see that BDT has also turned the corner. New products, new manufactureres - hopefully new profits?
Anyway the two big differences between BDT and ART, as far as I can ascertain:
BDT has a law suit pending against it and ART does not. (Let's say AUD 15 million possible liability for BDT);
BDT has a market capitalisation of circa $15 million, - ART has a market capitalisation of circa $130 million!
