I’ve had BRI on my watch list for quite a while.

What stops me from entering is what I see as the growing threat from Bunnings Trade in the frames and truss segment. If you look at the Bunnings Trade webpage, you can see they currently have six frame and truss manufacturing centres, but with, and I quote, ‘plans for many more locations to come’. And we’re talking about Wesfarmers here, so they know a thing or two about rolling out new sites, and have the deep pockets to make it happen.

I’ll keep watching and look for signs that they are successfully fending off Bunnings Trade before considering an entry.
