No. Allan Gray are contrarian investors and they have always seen deep value in CAA and are active supporters of the companies future.
In fact, back circa 5 years ago, they faught viciously to defeat an attempeted takeoever at around $7 - a bid which was supported by Tony D & management. This still rankles me today.
The fact that Gray are still buying is a very good sign that the value is still there, which it is. My personal IV is $13.71 and until they get close to that fugure, I'm not selling and am happy to receive the dividends. remember this is a company that because of the huge store of tax losses means that NPBT = NPAT into the foreseeable future. That in itself means additional cash flow for either reinvestement or special dividends or continued buybacks. The more of these distribution centers they acquire, the more of their product they can sell.
