I find with larger companies if l exit or reduce (overpriced? bad reporting? Portfolio % too high) l end up with “sellers remorse” a year or two later.
It ends up being a bad move and then wish I had of kept holding.
With smaller companies, I have found that if I exit, it ends up being the best decision I ever made.
it’s not a hard and fast rule but that tends to be the case on average larger companies recover smaller companies can crash.
I think keep very diversified and measure your performance against the index. Your portfolio performance is the only thing in the day.
