I've never heard a major shareholder like Regal or UBS vote against executive remuneration, they all have their snouts at the trough too and recognise the right of other piggies - they probably all play golf together. Best we can hope for is enough retail and a few sophs vote no so at least there's a noticeable protest vote to cause embarrasment
