I think you have caught on to this situation as has the AFR.
As pointed out in the AFR’s StreetTalk, interest form Dai-Ichi and a stake of 15.1% only ends up in one thing, they did it with TAL and took out Suncorp’s Life company, Westpac’s life company amongst others.
What would be the takeover price?
