Ok Ok - I do see your point - it has been a long time between drinks .... I too have been with the company for many years.
I all this, it is very important to keep a logical perspective ..
We started our mine, raised capital and built the mill on the smell of an oily rag - it was a wonderful achievement BUT our mine was very small - we had very little in the way of LOM. The task was then to build up our assets with as little dilution as possible - and in an environment of rising gold prices. Not easy but was done first with McPhersons, then Geko, Mt Dimer and finally Lady Ida. Lady Ida was always on the radar and subject to a long, tedious process - very nearly didn't get it at all. Our directors put their neck on the line to achieve that for us - despite some of the nasty critics we may easily have missed out altogether.
So, now to get to the current day, we now have the assets (LOM) plus Timor Leste potential PLUS have moved to an owner operated mine with all our own plant.
I still maintain that it is just early days for Beacon, we have already paid modest fully franked dividends (how many other small miners can claim that achievement).
Definitely the best is yet to come !
