yes i pinged them with that question like two weeks ago but they havent got back to me. maybe they are still working it out. maybe they dont want to tell me oppie holders are going to get screwed.
my hope is the share price will boom after Wa reverses policy before expiry 12 months from now. thus producing many bags. it is a high risk investment but the newsflow has been so bullish since my initial purchase at start of year.
i think the rules are that the details of the option have to be the same or proportional to any changes. so i imagine any new oppies for the demerged company would have an expiry date the same, giving only 10 months for a new gold explorer to get anywhere.
i think it was the absent @Theeagle15 who said they might payout a lump sum to oppie holders based on a calculation involving the volatility of head price but thats the first and last i heard about that.
