This reflects Santos' intent for Mahalo in that it is part of the short-term production plans and reaffirms how important the East Coast LNG production is to STO's total production mix. FEED announcement out this week or next week will reiterate this to the market. Fasten your seatbelts guys, the action is about to begin. A Comet Ridge FEED announcement & the cost estimates therein may shove a few interested parties in the back and force them to get moving on their due diligence. Honestly, given the desperation for high quality, low risk gas assets onshore Australia, and specifically on the East Coast, I cannot see how we get to Christmas without a bid on the table given we are basically on the cusp of FID.
