I wouldn't go so far as to accuse them of insider trading, but IMO, the ASX isn't always a level playing field, and information moves around Corporate circles that retail investors would not be privy to.
CRs don't happen overnight, and PER Management would have been planning this weeks before the actual date of the CR, telegraphing their intentions to the savvy institutional investors who would have their ears to the ground.
That's my conspiracy theory anyway...LOL
I guess PLATINUM would be doing a disservice to its people if it weren't one step ahead of the market, given its current exposure—for us plebs, we still rely on the crystal ball!
Let's hope it's been worth all the grief and there is a big payday at the end of it all!
