They jump around about 2% pretty regularly, both up and down. I don't believe anything to it in terms of it being deliberate, moreso they have a lot of clients money to manage and those clients all have different needs.
They also offer stock for shorting of course but that really is subjective to how the company is perceived by the market anyway.
We're overall fairly low on the shortsell list in my opinion.
