Some Funds have a target return , fixed margin ,, many believe 20% in a year is a terrific return .... that's what happens when you use SEM Someone Else's Money... In some cases as @ma420 pointed out some funds like to free carry shares forward after returning their original capital..
This enables them to participate elsewhere in the market... Funds are Risk averse .... they have to demonstrate a decent return to their Investors , that's their core business... NZT
