and yet how can it be a takeover when the buyer would then be exposing themselves to some serious breaking of the rules. unless it is the suitor buying their initial stake or increasing their stake but what a weird and expensive way to do it? As it likely mean they have to pay more to gain control than they would have had the price not jumped.
