The nurses in VIC have been given a payrise 27% back end loaded and the Private sector nurses are not happy at all not only do they want pay parity but they now are pushing for ratios in private hospitals St.Vincents private has a meeting with the union tomorrow to try and break the deadlock the strike action does slowly seem to be taking a toll on numbers which hurts bottom line now the nurses union is dropping into Ramsey Hospitals they had a meeting today at 1 for the up coming EBA it will be interesting to see if the unions push for ratios at Ramsey Hospitals as this will add a million or 2 to the staff costs in the budget
