Indeed. You can see what percentage of a stock is shorted at Shortman.com.au. RHC shorts have been increasing pretty much at the same pace as the SP has been decreasing over the last several months. There's a few days lag on the chart data, but here's hoping we've reached a crest of sorts and shorters like SS start buying back their shares.
