any idea in who these Aussie allies are? or are you just speaking of a hunch/inkling?
i'd prefer international investors like keep away from the board and let the experienced miners sit at the table. reap the rewards that way.
10% puts them in a good position where they can act quickly to potentially block any takeovers - not sure if thats a good or bad thing as i would much rather an major shareholder from Australia instead.
nonetheless its a good backing to have.
