@missinglink: For what it’s worth, on the earnings call, imo, Harley sounded mildly unenthusiastic about a takeover when asked questions on it. Not negative, just unenthusiastic. In and of itself that didn’t surprise me, because he’s just a year into the top job. He probably - ideally - wants to make his mark as the Turnaround Champion here (and in the process accumulate more ‘free’ performance incentives, giving him greater $kin in the game before any suitor rides in to take the prize). The decision on a firm bid (if it comes) will however be the board’s, not his alone, and what they (and the large block holders) determine is in the best interests of shareholders.
