It is what it is. The three contenders were asked to complete their look over the books by the end of the month which was Friday 28 February. So there may have been some hope in some quarters for some action along the way leading up to the end of the month but it seems that all three contenders have kept things very close to their chests (their war chests). Now in my opinion it should be action week next week ( first week in March)
Then the three contenders will have to reveal whether they are in and prepared to continue to make offers or whether any of the three (or all three) decide to pull out of the bidding. It has been the lull before the storm hopefully.
Though personally I would be quite happy to see them all withdraw and leave IFL to restore itself to a more valued status than its recent past perception by the market.
