not sure im understanding your concept of ownership. he doesn't get access to keys unless he buys the company ... he may have influence, but likely doesn't need to have much more ownership to have influence, he prob already has his say. at this point the company (and shareholders like you and me) are all owners.
am I missing something in your point?
