i doubt the Tanzanian government has mistaken the Mahenge project for another company in another jurisdiction.
I suspect it's to do with the granted an exemption from the provisions of the Mines Act 2017 requiring SML
developers to issue 5% of stock to local interests and listing of 30% of stock on the Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange. This was granted at the same time the special mining license announcement.

If so, hopefully just an oversight. Would be another major hurdle to secure finance at project level if BKT has to issue another 5% of the company away to 'local interests"
