I had to look it up and have a hard think myself about relevant versus registered. Google AI helped.
The other thing that bothers me is the large holders like Morgans and Citi having affiliates lending to shorters. I can't help feeling like the large holders have access to management more than retail, and could "potentially" glean a deeper understanding of culture and dynamics that might tip their hand as it were.
Also these big banks have access to the halls of power via lobbyists and would have a good idea of the likelihood of threats like tariffs and other mayhem coming to pass.
The only thing on a retail investors' side is information sharing with other holders and a very healthy sense of skepticism IMO.
Happy to see the green but wary for now.
