BD, If you look at the table they attached of the day trades,

the shorts are returned as collateral securities to NORGE on up days so these shorts cash out daily with them so NORGE are actively lending out short positions of around 50,000 shares a day maybe more
yet they are trading against these shorts themselves and their own lent shares LOL

NORGE is on up days stuffing the short lenders yet taking their loan interest and commission from them at the same time and making money on their cash losses, LOL
    Smart money

On the down days you see less shorts cashed in, on up days more cashed in
So NORGE is facilitating daily or short term SHORT SELLERS
they get say 50k shares on loan from NORGE at 2500, sell them incrementally from open say 2480 to 2400 and then if it goes up back to 2400 they cash them back in and pay the commission and loan interest on them at a day rate.

On the day list you see the collateral returns so the SHORT cashed them back in and stopped the loan interest accruing. This means these are not long term shorts but traders 1-7 days in and out.
If they get caught on the upside they cash them in and then buy on market and push it up long higher than their loss known as a short squeeze.

so in that example, they sell 2480 to 2400 and then BUY at 2410 -2440 but if it reverses on them say goes to 2500 then hand back the short at 2530 say and run it up to 2560 to cover their short loss of 30c hence the fast sharp 50c runups after the fast sharp drops and V patterns.

NORGE is stuffing their own SHORT lenders on these up days as they are lending out the shares but then BUYING them UP on market higher and the short then BUYS with NORGE higher up plus pays NORGE loan interest and commission.
    LOL

NORGE is running the floor up 200c and cashing the short term SHORTS out by hitting their stop losses then forcing them to buy even higher cascading the BULL run daily.

This is creating the volatility with moves of 3%-10% daily unlike with BHP RIO FMG
FMG used to be like this when it was $2-$7 but not anymore

I believe the SHORT position also counts daytraders who are BULLS
In other words, the 14% SHORTS are not all SHORT SELLERS and in fact the long term SHORTS from 80-50 say are starting to cover as they ought to have covered around 15-25 already as going forward they are facing less and less margin on their long term SHORTS

80-20 = 60 ps profit minus loan interest GST brokerage and commission
80-25 = 55 ps profit and so forth
so as the SP goes up the long term SHORTS are under pressure to cash them in as they are losing their gains they had and still paying interest and higher brokerage at a higher price
and the short term and daily shorts well they are stuffed as it goes up totally as they are not only losing cash and loan interest but actually making capital losses as well LOSS LOSS LOSS

I estimated that some 200k-400k daily are short traders
of these I think 70% are actually BULLS buying low selling high
and of these NORGE s say 1M shares daily of which they keep 500k on up days and sell off 200k-500k daily on the matches to get their 100c cuts.

This means the actual percentage of SHORT SELLER short term or daily is rather limited and with enough "GANGING UP" using NORGE or other INSTOS BUYERS they will cover and run and join the BULL RUN higher than expected.

Thats why when it runs up it sometimes keep going up and other times it drops away depending on the short covering.

NORGE is stuffing the SHORTS on market and trading against their own short held shares with day shorts. LOL

NORGE is the BULLS secret weapon.
