Reposting below for morning readers. Since I posted last night there were a lot of rapid fire post pushing it down the bottom before the morning crowd logs in. Example: Tumby 7 posts, Dewydiligence 17 posts. Not saying it’s an intentional tactic to down play positive sentiment but it has that effect. Just don’t want the fact the Fidelity is increasing its position to be overlooked.
I hope so. If Fidelity are building a 10% stake in DRO to hold long that’s a big indicator of where DRO may go.
Fidelity are one of the biggest and best investment funds in the world. Before investing such a huge amount of money they must have been satisfied as to the answer of quite a number of questions.
Questions like:
- Is DRO tech industry leading
- Is the management and engineering talent world class
- Are the European sales likely to materialise
- Is there a good prospect for Land156 success
- Will the American market for non defence markets such as prisons, airports etc be ready to mature
- Will rest of world defence leads convert into sales
- Will the company be able to realise all thesesales and continue to deliver
That sort of wealth buys a lot of contacts. I don’t think they are just taking their best guess at the answers to questions like these. I think they are getting an idea from the horses mouth what potential buyers are planning to do.
I also think that the opinions they are getting about the quality of DRO tech is bang on the money. They don’t get called the smart money for nothing.
