There are some distinctions in the bidding process folks should be aware of.
If you accept Kinterra's bid (ie: send in the form) and kinterra then pay a higher price within the bidding period, you are entitled to a top up.
If they pay a higher price once the bidding period ends, you are not.
If the higher price is in a negotiated off market settlement (within the bidding period) you are entitled to the top up, providing the transaction is deemed to be 'under the bid'.
Subtle nuances in the ASIC and bidding laws can make a big difference to what people think they are agreeing to vs what they are actually agreeing too///
