savage river is small fry to the Aust govt, the sale would guarantee the mine life as they would extract every last tonne, and the government would still be guaranteed tax receipts, the block caving is the future of the mine site, an extensive study of the drilling data has been underway for several months, they would know by now that it’s all go, so all of their boxes would be ticked for a long mine life. Hopefully they announce something tomorrow for us to all ponder over.
