At the start of the year when the probability of a Labor government was real which a threat to the SIQ business model - share price was around similar levels
Major shareholder selling out; long time CEO moving on after 20 years (not well communicated, yes) and structural industry changes (permanent reduction to profits from insurance products) have led to today's share price being at similar levels.
Certainly an overreaction IMO, but I doubt SIQ will bounce back to double digit figures anytime soon.
