OK you've declared your low esteem for the leadership in three different posts now. When I review the announcement, it contains all the information one would expect. The former CEO's failure to relocate does not appear in the 'key points', but there could be personal reasons that are none of our business, and in any case, that failure is outlined in the first paragraph.
As for the 'interim' appointment of Trevor Elbourne,
@UncleJr may be right to conclude that he has been passed over, but we should remember that some techies simply don't want to move into full-on management - i.e. he may be happy to help out for a while.
I say let's suck it and see.
