I am somewhat surprised at the attack on DW but agree that he is not a woke guy and is apt to cause some sensitivity to those that are. As chairman of smaller non public companies which also have CEO’s as opposed to General Managers I have found that good face to face communication is essential so have doubted the worth of overseas based CEO’s. overall I am still a confident shareholder. A company is always bigger than any individual and it should always stand on its merits with its products and its position in its market place and what its products are used for.Decision making and following the strategic plan of course need to be managed well and delegation should not be awarded to sub standard personnel.
