Paladin Energy could be back on institutional investors' radars on Tuesday morning after the company announced ebullient managing director and founder John Borshoff would be replaced by well-known offshore uranium executive, Alexander Molyneux.
As word of Borshoff's impending departure filtered through the market on Monday, fund managers and analysts committed to take another look at the embattled uranium producer. The uranium bull's departure was later announced on Monday night.
Sources said the move was a win for Chinese private equity investor HOPU, which had flexed its muscles and helped bring about change at the company.
