There are plenty of unsuspecting mum & dad investors who don't have the experience in fundamental research with listed companies and throw their hard earned at stocks on a tip from a broker or a mate. Adding to their research load is when there has been a change in the asx code and or company name it can be difficult to find relevant information when not knowing where to look. If sharing encourages other to do their due diligence prior to investing then that can only be a good thing. There is of course the added bonus of feeling like Robin Hood when helping others.
