DB is now GCY's 2nd largest holder, the Spartan name has nothing to do with DB.
From what I understand the reason they have chosen the Spartan name is it reflects a small team overcoming great odds by conquering much larger opposition.
SL has a military background which also ties into the Spartan ethos of discipline and being accountable to each other.
