The company name change has nothing to do with the business units the company holds, which continue to trade under their business names. Customers and goodwill are linked to those businesses. Consumers don't care what the holding company is called. Customers will still be dealing woth the business names they are used to. You may argue the benefit of this decision but your are not correct in comparing it to x and twitter which are also brand and business names.
