I don't recall LMIII's letter ever suggesting a buy-back was part of the plan. In the reasons for requisitioning the EGM all that is stated is.
"2. No plan to return excess capital to shareholders: The Requisitioning Member believes the board ought to priorities the implementing of a plan to return excess cash to shareholders"
